Austin, TX, USA — Applied Rigaku Technologies, Inc. has announced a new method for on-line measurement of cobalt (Co), bromine (Br) and manganese (Mn) in terephthalic acid (TPA) and purified terephthalic acid (PTA), demonstrating the use of a process energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) analyzer.

These X-ray cameras feature a 4.0-megapixel sCMOS (scientific CMOS) sensor coupled to a gadolinium oxysulfide scintillator, and they deliver high-resolution X-ray images at 30 frames per second (full resolution) through a USB 3.0 interface.
The C12849 series of sCMOS cameras are suitable for high-resolution X-ray imaging, X-ray micro-CT, and other X-ray applications.
